Christmas Cards!

Since I have been such a slacker at getting my Christmas Cards up for the 2016 series...I am just going to post several pics of my favorite cards I made this season. And believe it or not I ran out of cards and had to create more just this morning!

this is a layout I did for a Design Team submission I couldn't share earlier
but I love how it turned out!

And I learned my lesson this year...completeness is important. Next year's cards will be photographed, signed, and even addressed as they are made!

Anyhow, hope you enjoy...

and don't forget to head to Sunshine, Smiles, and Cards to check out Kimberly's 2016 Christmas Card Series!

Christmas Card Series 2016: Card #4

Welcome to Card #4...I have really had so much fun creating all of these great cards! I am participating today in a local event selling cards along with my friend Kim aka Sunshine, Smiles, and Cards. The event is the Christmas Tree lighting in Crystal River, FL called Grinchmas! We both will have cards to sell so if you are not a crafter head on out to see us and you can purchase some lovely hand-made, unique cards.

Here is a look at a card that will be available:

Supplies Used:

Cherry Red Cardstock (my stash)
Gina Marie Dies: Wreath Die Set, Merry Christmas word die
Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Marker
American Crafts Gold Glitter cardstock

And of course all of my supplies were purchased at Scrapping for Less (this is the Facebook Group...just ask to join.) This portion of my business focuses on pre-order supplies! Lots of great Gina Marie Dies available for pre-order too!

And the second portion of the business...Scrapping for Less website. If you need something immediately order from here! There are several GM dies available here as well!

Christmas Card Series 2016: Card #3

I sure am enjoying the holiday season with my hubby home...so it is a really good thing I started making all these Christmas cards back in July! So, onto today's card...this one was super fun to color!

I have been using up things from my stash to make this years Christmas cards and I am terrible at writing down the products I used...I will promise to try and get better at that!

All of my supplies of course were purchased through Scrapping for Less!

2016 Christmas Card Series: Card #1

Well, nothing like being a bit late! It has been a super busy week! My friend Kim and I came up with a plan way back earlier this year to do a Christmas Card series...we had a blast shopping (from Scrapping for Less of course), planning, and even creating cards together a little bit. You see we live about an hour and a half away from each other and even though we could spend at least 4 days a week making cards together that is always not practical...so we try to do the next best thing and Facetime so we can craft together. We got lots and lots accomplished prior to my hubby retiring on October 31. Not so much since then...hopefully we will get back into our groove soon. For now, enjoy the cards we created...some we used the same stamp, some we used inspiration from each other and some we just came up with ourselves! Both of us will be posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Check out Kim's post on Friday!

Here is what I came up with for today or better yet should have been on Friday!

Supplies Used:
Quilt Die (borrowed from a friend)
Doodlebug Home for the Holidays paper collection...oldie from my stash
Kraft cardstock
stamp?
Hero Arts Super Fine White Embossing Powder

Join me again tomorrow for another Christmas card!
