I whipped up this cute little card from an image in my stock of cut images I keep on hand to make quick cards! I used the Paper Smooches stamps "Chit Chat" for the sentiment and "Geo-Graphic" for the background. I also used some pink and white twine to tie around the card. Hope you enjoy!

Challenge:   Independence Day

July 2 - July 8, 2013

 I decided to make a little home decor project for you today.

Supplies:

Straw wreath

Material Strips cut 3"x 18" 

Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge

Pearl Spray Mist

Straight Pins

Bazzill 4th of July printed paper

Various red, white, and blue ribbon

Step 1: I wrapped the wreath with the printed material strips and pinned them onto the straw form. 

Step 2: Cut 4 different size/patterns of 6 petal flowers from Accent Essentials.

Step 3: Layer together and begin scrunching and folding to create the rumpled look of the flower. Layer another flat flower of similar or contrasting color in the middle and secure all with a brad.

Step 4: Make various size bows with ribbon and pin in place.

Step 5: Pin paper flowers to the wreath form.

Challenge:   Mini Album

June 25 - July 1, 2013

I have this fabulous mini album for you today.  I love this little Bo Bunny album. Several years ago I used one to make a family album to take with me on a visit back home. Imagine my wonder and surprise when one of these lovely little albums popped up on a selling/buying group I am part of...so I bought it knowing exactly these pictures would be the perfect event to use in this album. Hope you enjoy.

This year on Good Friday rather than just sit around the house hubby and I thought it would be nice to take the whole family on an outdoor adventure. So, we went to this state park we had talked about going to and fished, had a picnic, biked, and just had a great time enjoying the warm Florida sunshine. 

This picture includes all the pages left to complete. I can't wait to get back to it. This was a really fun little mini-album to work on.

Challenge:   Case It

June 18 - 24, 2013

 I LOVE "Scraplifting" cause it gives you an idea to use as a springboard. I found this card right around the time we were doing the umbrella challenge and already had this adorable stamp set I had never used, so wanted to try this. I know, I know, Spring is officially over. I will probably hang onto this card and use it next year and brighten someone's day with it. Anyhow, here is my take on the card.
