How is everyone on this wonderful Sunday? It is a rainy wet day here in "Sunny Central Florida." What is on your agenda today? I hope you are able to get crafty...I am going to continue crafting by FaceTiming with my two friends...but first hope to get the total mess of a craft room cleaned up and ready for the week.

Let's jump into the card for today.

I am not sure who makes this image. This baby chick is checking out this little
Easter egg hidden amongst the flowers.
Colored with Copic Markers

Spring & Easter Card Series #2

I am so not getting off to a great start here...yesterday's post I totally did not get my card added until today and here it is 8:10PM and I am just now getting my card posted for today. Hopefully, the rest of the week will go better ... at least all the cards are created!

I have spent the past two weeks working on Easter cards for a donation to a nursing home my friend works at. So glad I can spread some cheer.

I used Copic Markers to color the tulips.
The stamp is: Spring Tulips by Sweet & Sassy
The Paper is from my stash I am unsure of the brand.
The sentiment is from Doodlebug Designs Hoppy Easter Stamp.

Spring Card Series with Cardmaking Blonde.

Let's try this card series collaboration again. I didn't do so well in carrying out the series...I am GOING to complete this one! (I am really telling myself that) rather than all my viewers and followers.

So join me here and Kimberly over at Cardmaking Blonde to take a peek at some awfully cute spring and Easter cards.

Yesterday was a very busy busy day and I did not get around to coming back here to post my card.

I was recently in the La-La Land Crafts first ever Happy Mail swap. I was so excited to do this fun fold card. I used the July 2018 Club La-La Land Kit Garden Marci and the sweet little garden fairies to complete this card. I had so much fun making this fun fold card that I know I will be making some more.

I colored Marci and the fairies with my Copic markers.
I pulled out a very old Echo Park paper Pad from my stash for the pattern
paper. I followed the tutorial I found on YouTube at Teri Pocock-Stampin Magic's channel

It was such fun to decorate all the panels on this card.

I did my back flap panel a little differently cause I wanted to make sure I could use
my last little garden fairy.

Thanks for stopping by and being patient with me.

What's in Your Basket?

Well, I was really busy, busy this Easter weekend. I wanted so bad to make a card and even had one flowing around in my head, but, I had better things to keep me occupied. First on Friday my next to youngest grandson called bright and early and said in the sweetest voice..."Grandma, can I come over?" We were already planning to go pick him up cause he had been asking for quite some time could he come over by his self (without brother or sister). So we go to pick him up...sister was very mad about that. Then later in the day two other grandsons came over for a bit.

Saturday was the annual taking my granddaughter Easter dress shopping. We normally do it much sooner but due to T-ball games and practices, and dance thrown in there had not been able to find the time to go. So, bright and early Saturday morning off we went. Now we live in an area where the shopping leaves a bit to be desired so we traveled a little over an hour to go shopping for her dress. She likes the thrill of the hunt as much as deciding on which dress so we always go try on way more than she ever would consider. After visiting 2 stores, trying on in the first store we settled on one of the three dresses we tried on in the third store...hair accessories...and sandals to complete the ensemble and we were all set. A quick ride on the little choo-choo train and then we were headed for a nice lunch, then home to her house.

Then it was off to shop for the things I needed for Easter dinner and finally home to prepare for Easter Sunday. We were having a big family gathering and meal at my daughter's house and she had asked me to try and find time to make a banner. Well, I finally found the time to sit down and make it last night. So that is what was in my basket this morning. This lovely banner to hang in her doorway to greet all who entered on this blessed Easter Sunday. Hope you enjoy it!

Close up of the end...the front banner panel has the same bunny only in reverse  colors.

I am entering this banner in the CAS-ual Friday's challenge. This is my first time linking up to this challenge. I am excited to have just found this blog and look forward to many Fridays to come where I can be inspired to create.
