About Me

It is about time I do an update here on my "About Me" page. I am still married to the "boy next door" and have been for the last 46 years. We have 3 grown children and now 9 grandchildren. The last 2 to have joined the crew are 2 little boys that my daughter and her spouse have adopted! I have been retired now for the past 9 years. In that time I was a full time dedicated housewife for a full year and then for the past 8 years I owned and operated a  craft business both on Facebook and then eventually a full blown online website/store. I decided in December of 2020 after a very hard year in the business it was time to close it up! So here I am retired again. I spend my time in several ways;  taking care of my home and hubby, crafting and posting videos on my YouTube channel,  spending time with my grandchildren, and crafting...oh I said that already! LOL, yes I do a lot of crafting! I am slowly getting back into baking more but that is hit or miss lately! Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

I want to give you an overview of me and my life. I have been married to "the boy next door" for the last 37 years. We have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. We are very fortunate to have these 6 boys and 1 girl all live right here in the same town as we do. They are my shining joy! I have taught school for the past 17 years in a variety of positions. My favorite of all of those was teaching first grade. I am about to embark on a new journey though as I have taken a year's leave of absence and will become a Stay at Home Wife and be able to have the time to be more involved in my grandchildren's lives. I am also looking forward to being able to catch up on my scrapbooking and have the energy to put forth into cooking and baking.
