Scrapbook Blessings Club...Creating a Card Stash!

Well, Happy Tuesday fellow crafters! We are one day closer to the weekend right? So glad you could join us here today. I am going to share with you a really quick and easy way to create a card stash...now I only have 3 cards to show you but it is just so you can get the idea on how/what to do to go about creating a quick and easy card stash!

Tip: Keep your layouts simple!

There is a little step by step process here to do this:

First, take some time on a rainy afternoon to create a stockpile of various diecuts using either your Cricut or Silhouette machine. It makes quick and easy cardmaking even quicker.

Second, choose only 1 or 2 Sentiment stamp sets to use. I used these cool and fabulous new sets from Crafting Desert Divas...check them out...I think you will love them!

Third, choose 2 main colors of cardstock (I chose blue and yellow) and choose 1 6x6 pad to use as your patterned paper. {Take one that has been forgotten and unloved and put it to use.}

Lastly, choose your simple layouts and start creating...

Here are the 3 cards I created this afternoon in about an hour.

Don't you just think these are super cute? I sure was pleased with how they turned out!

Thanks for taking the time to join us today. Make sure to check out our current challenge over at Scrapbook Blessings Club!

The Design Team was asked to create a background scene and use one of the super cute images available at Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I have been creating a stock pile of cards to send to my daughter that lives way far away from her mommy!...(insert sad face) so this is another one to add! I will be sending them off later this week! Thanks for joining me today and don't forget to enter your creation.

Tip: Plan everything out before you cut! (I had to change things up a bit cause my word was too big.)

Scrapbook Blessings Flower Challenge

We have a great challenge that starts today over at Scrapbook Blessings Club! Super easy too! Just create a project and use at least one flower. I am going to show you the flowers I created but you will have to wait until a bit later this week to see my project. I plan to use these flowers to make an Easter banner for a Scrapbook Blessing post later this week. So, check out all the cute and awesome projects over there and get to work creating one for yourself! You can do it!

Here are my flowers!

and the supplies I used to make them!

Steps to create these flowers:
1. Go buy yourself an old dictionary from a thrift store.
2. Scallop punch 2 3/8"
3. Tear out 5 sheets of the dictionary.
4. Punch all 5 sheets at a time and you will get 6 punches from your grouping.
5. Separate your 5 sheets and "paint" glue around the edge of the scallop.
6. Sprinkle your glitter on top of the glue on each sheet.
7. Let dry and continue to create more.
8. When dry stack your 5 glittered scallops together, use a paper
piercer to pierce hole in the middle.
9. Put brad in hole and then begin to scrunch together
layer by layer as tight as you can.
10. Spread out a bit and you have a beautiful flower.
You can make smaller ones if you have an even smaller scallop punch.
Unfortunately, I only have this one size.

I hope you will check back later this week to see my banner that I plan to put my flowers on.

It is perfect for all levels of scrapbookers! So whether you are a newbie or an experience scrapper, these kits has everything you'll need to create fast and easy projects. All you need to do is get out your scissors, paper trimmer and adhesive.

Why card kits? A couple reasons, one is getting fabulous papers and embellishments from popular Scrapbooking Companies, without buy a ton that you never use and letting it all just sit in the drawer.

The second is cost. I am a frugal scrapbooker and affordability is always high on my list.  It is not always easy to spend $30- $50 on a kit.
Our kits will be $15 plus s/h.

And lastly is convenience, with these kits, there is no guess work in getting papers to coordinate along with embellishments and fabrics, etc.
