Birthday Card #2

Thankful Thought: I am so blessed to be able to share in family birthday celebrations. This evening we celebrated this special little 11 year old at Outback Steakhouse. I even got to start off his special day by going to his house and cooking his favorite breakfast (chocolate chip pancakes!) He was so excited!

On to my birthday card:

Supplies Used:
My Favorite Things: Blueprints 2
I also used sketches from the MFT website
My Favorite Things: Grout Grey cardstock
My Favorite Things: Cool Day Stamp set and coordinating die set.
Bo Bunny: Altitude 6x6 paper pad

All items were purchased from Scrapping For Less. An online unique Facebook group. Take time to check it out!

Stay tuned for Monday's Make It Happen 2016 post and have a chance to give me some feedback and help with some problem solving!

Birthday Card #1

Hello my friends! I am almost back to my regularly scheduled postings. I am switching things up a bit this week because I have a post over at Scrapbook Blessings Club...you could head over there if you want...lots of cool stuff, great challenges, great tutorials, and all around great people that share great creative items! I will post my Make It Happen-2016 post for this week on Wednesday.

Beginning in January the first 3 months of the year for me are slammed with various birthdays in my family. I have not been on time getting cards to the recipients but I am working hard at doing that!

So here is card #1 for the share!

I was very excited to use some of these items as they were brand new to me and had not been sitting in my stash forever before using them.

Supplies Used:
My Favorite Things: Circle Burst Stencil
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Bo Bunny : Altitude 6x6
Sorry but I do not remember the stamp set the penguins came from
Paper Smooches: make a wish stamp came from a set with this company
(all of my stuff is still packed from being with my grandkids this past week)

Did I disappear?

No I have not disappeared off the face of the planet or been abducted by aliens!

I have totally discovered that I just cannot keep up with a posting schedule when my regular schedule is disrupted. So, I will only post when I am at home or have things caught up and can schedule my posts ahead of time. Thanks so much for understanding!

As for where I have been this past week...I have been keeping these 3 little aliens and hauling them all over creation (football practice, football games, cheer practice, baseball practice, school, and to stay with Papa one night as it is very difficult to be two places at once). I kept them so their parents could go on a much needed vacation getaway and reconnect! So thankful I am able to be a blessing!

Valentine Series: Card #7

This is the last Valentine Card in my series...I am kind of sad about this cause I certainly did not do it justice. But, hey life happens doesn't it? So, my thought to this is to pick myself up and just move on and strive to do better in the future.

Valentine Series: Card #6

Disclaimer: I know I have been missing in action...just a few days after recovering from my gum infection ordeal I left to go to NC to take care of my sister as she recovers from back surgery. While there I so thought I would be able to continue my blog posting well that was not to be....I was extremely busy and while I did have some free time I just could not muster up the energy to do all I wanted. Something had to give and I decided it to be the blog posting. So, I know my dates don't match with my header but I do have Valentine's cards to post this week today and Friday. I will resume my Make It Happen-2016 series next Monday. I do intend to carry through with my plan and do plan to be consistent...my word of the year! Would love for you to leave me a comment and let me know what derails you at times? I will have a random drawing with a gift for someone from the comment section. Sorry, but I can only do US shipping at this time.

Today's Thankful Thought: Home! I am very thankful for my home and the opportunity to be able to be a SAHW.  I so enjoy taking care of my home and my sweet hubby!

Supplies Used:
Lawn Fawn: Stitched Heart Dies
Lawn Fawn: Bugs and Kisses Stamp Set
Copic Markers
Authentique: Smitten Paper Pad

This card is for my next to youngest grandson, we always call him "bugs", so I thought this would be the perfect stamp set to use on his card. Don't you love it when things like that work out?

I purchase all my supplies from my own store...check me out Scrapping for Less.

Thanks for joining me for today's card...remember to tune on Friday for Card #7.
