November Collected Crafty Collab: Christmas Theme

Hi to all my Crafty Friends! I am in full blown Christmas mode so was very excited to show off these cards. I am combining this with my friend Alicia's challenge. She is from "Call Me Crafty Al" over on YouTube. She is doing a No-Spend November challenge with lots of inspiration for using your stash.

Challenge #8 is "I can See "Clear" ly Now" So, I have created 4 clear cards with tags that were in a Flavor of the Month Kit before. Thanks for stopping by and joining me.

These were the front of the tags

And these were the back of the tags...I just used the blank canvas
to stamp and color some simple images.

Next up on the hop is Lounon...check out what she has to show!

So for today I made a set of thank you cards. I have been on a bee kick lately....not real ones but bees on cards. My friend Stacy sent me this paper so we Facetimed and made this beautiful set of cards. I will try to find the paper collection to link to.

BoBunny paper could not be found anywhere

Collected Crafty Collab: October Thankful and Shiny | #collectedcraftycollabs

I am honored to be a part of this group. I apologize to the whole group for my being a tad late today. Trying to push through stuff is rough...but as the saying goes "when the going gets tough, the tough get going" just not on time today...LOL

I combined both of these elements and used some background paper and glitter paper to create this sweet and sparkly card.

The flower panels I have had for quite some time as a friend gifted those to me years ago. So happy to finally use them. And the best part about these cards is they are not going to just sit in my stash. They will be going with my first ever donation to the 2 new nursing homes in my area  I  will be consistently donating cards to from now on! So happy about that.

Thanks for joining us on the hop: Next up is Lounon

Picket Fence "Lily Bouquet" #marvelousmondaycraftingcrew

Hello my crafty friends! I missed last Monday but I am back today. I am excited to bring you this beautiful card. I colored up this image this spring when I was making Easter cards. I amazed myself at the coloring of this and chose not to use it for a card at Easter. I have enjoyed it since then.

Fast forward...a few days ago I saw on FB that it was my Aunt's birthday...we don't see each other often at all because she lives in Virginia but I so treasure her. I immediately knew that is what I needed to do with the lily bouquet image was to make her a birthday card.

First I got out my Gansai Tambi Watercolor and splattered a white 5x7 card base
with green, orange, and gold paint.
Then, I glued my image down flat. I thought about popping it up but decided against it.
I stamped the sentiment and then added some gold glitter dots and those 3 green glitter enamel dots which happened to just be laying on my desk.

Last, I got out my Spectrum Noir sparkle marker and glittered up the flowers.
I wish the camera could catch the sparkle of those flowers!

I know my Aunt Evelyn is going to absolutely love this card!

Thanks for stopping by this evening.

September 2020 Flavor of the Month "Orchards and Patches"

Fall is here! Let's take a trip to the Apple Orchard or maybe you want to go to the Pumpkin Patch! A little story about pumpkin patches...I started scrapbooking when our first grandchild was born. And boy did I love documenting everything about his growth. When he was 3 I wanted to take him to a pumpkin patch for the sole purpose of being able to do a photo shoot there and as a result create a scrapbook page. So whether you scrapbook or make cards, make sure you enjoy the fall weather and do something fun! Our Guest and Design Team has some fabulous project to share with the September kit "Orchards and Patches." Please visit Scrapping for Less to get your kit. Also enter the Rafflecopter on the SFL blog post for a chance to win a prize!

For my projects using the kit, I wanted to show how versatile our new Create-a-Dex dies are with the kits. I used the Barn Create-a-Dex to create a memory card with each collection. There are only a very few Barn dies left so jump right in and grab yours along with your kit.

I also used the stencil in the Banana Split level as well as the extra ephemera that can be purchased.

Hope you enjoy! Next up on the hop is the wonderfully talented Stacy!

Crafted Collab Monthly Hop: September Edition

Hello Crafters and Friends, for the Collected Crafty Collab today we are following the theme Halloween/Fall w/Sequins if desired. I was so glad to hear this was the theme. I have tons of products for this theme!

I decided to take this opportunity and use our new Create-a-Dex dies to create a card for each of my Design Team members to include in their package going their way for October. I am so excited for how these turned out.

First up I used the Barn Create-a-Dex dies to create most of the prezzies for my Design Team. I made a topper and then included some treats in the baggie. This die is almost sold out and will not be restocked right away...so grab yours now.

I also created a few with our other die. the Hello Create-a-Dex. This one has already sold out. These are so much fun to create!

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop~!

Cool Treats "Last Day of Summer Hop"

Thanks for joining us for the last day of summer! Wait! It is not the last day of summer...Well, that is what google said when I consulted the good 'ole search engine for the date before I published the hop sign ups! But then again maybe it is...Summer is still around until 9:30 AM (EST) and then poof at 9:31 AM it is FALL!

So, the reason I wanted to do this hop is because I LOVE SUMMER! Summer is my absolute most favorite season of the year. I hate to see it go each and every year! But I am sure there will be some absolutely gorgeous projects as you hop along on this last day of summer/first day of fall...which is it?

I have used Scrapping for Less "Cool Treats" and an ancient chipboard sticker set to create these cute summer cards.

You can purchase Cool Treats here

Sheetload of Christmas Cards #marvelousmondaycraftingcrew

For this Monday's post I used one of my weekend crafting projects to showcase. This is one of my favorite sheet loads...I have a few...and pulled out some very old  but gorgeous scrapbook paper from Crate Paper called "Bundled Up". I used the June 2019 sheetload to make a whole lot of cards. Some of the cards still need sentiments on them but I will get those finished up in no time. Hope you enjoy.

Have an absolutely wonderful crafty Monday!
