Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Easter" Blog Hop!

We're so happy you could join us today!

You should have arrived from Sandy's blog.  If you happened by my blog or are joining me from your dashboard, head over to Miranda's blog to start at the beginning.  We don't want you to miss any of the fun!
In addition to seeing a lot of awesome Easter creations, there is some blog candy available too.  Miranda will be giving away a Michael’s gift card.  To be eligible for the blog candy, you are required to visit each stop in the hop and leave a comment!  The winner will be announced Wednesday, March 27th on Miranda's blog!

My project is very picture heavy...I made a very unique mini-album for the pictures from one Easter. I don't do mini-albums often but I have made several over the years...I think this one is my most favorite I have ever done. It was a whole bunch of graduated sized squares so I put them together to create this mini-album. Hope you enjoy all the pics.

Sorry the pictures are not the best quality...but if you click on them and make them larger I think they will be okay! Thanks for taking the time to hop!!

Next on the hop is Angela's blog!!!
Should you get lost along the way, here is the entire line up:

Holli - http://SunflowerHolli.blogspot.com

And I have a little blog candy of my own...should I happen to reach 150 followers during this blog hop I will be giving a $10 GC to use at my Face Book Scrapbook supply shop...Scrapping for Less; where you can purchase hot, trendy, current, scrapbook supplies and tools and whatever else you may think up at less than retail prices.

Here is the link: Scrapping for Less

Happy Easter!!!!  We hope you enjoyed the hop today!

Delay on Fridge Organization Part II

Hello all,
Sorry to bring this news...I have to delay the Fridge Organization Part II post...I hit a delay and it is taking a bit longer to put the project together than I though. Also, it does not help that I have been super busy this week with these special people!!  Volunteering, sporting events, and birthdays! The joys of my life!

I'm Going Home

Well, I have finished my last day (at least for the next 14 months) of working at a school. Hopefully it is longer and I can go into retirement but that remains to be seen. As I sit here on my couch this morning I am so very thankful for many things...a man who is so wonderful that wants to do whatever possible to make me happy, the ability to create a cozy, home for him, the ability to be able to enjoy my grandchildren to the fullest. So, I have many plans to get going and will let you all know about what is going on more consistently from this point forward. Enjoy this video as it says exactly what I am feeling right now!

Sooo Cannot Wait....

It is getting super hard to wait for the end of school. However, I keep plodding along. Only 12 more days now and I will be a "free" woman! Well, actually a SAHW. That acronym could not have a sweeter sound to my ears. I probably will not be posting too much the next couple of weeks as it is going to be super busy around here. I have so much to do to end the school year and then on top of that I have to prepare things to move home. Good news on that though...2 teachers were walking around yesterday that are moving to a primary grade and popped into my classroom and said they would take some of my stuff and give it a good temporary home. Hey, as long as I don't have to store it that is fantastic. Take all you want!! I will be sad though to take down my wagon...I have only had it two years but it must come down.
My 2 grandchildren with a pic of my wagon in the background. This was back in August.

Lots Going On Around here...

Some Good...Some Not so Good!

I am keeping up with the positive so that is coming first...

The Good Things Happening:

  • I only have 16 days left until the end of the school year.
  • We are leaving Saturday to visit family and witness the wedding of my cousin's beautiful baby girl.
  • I had some minor out-patient surgery and it went well...just waiting on some results...but doc said all looked good.
  • I was able to reconnect with a friend I have not been able to see in quite some time.
  • My organization skills are picking up...but I am thinking they are going to have to take a back seat until school is out.
  • And life is good!!!

Some Not so Good things...
  • I had a not so great evaluation at school...this has been a rough year and I have done my best to do what I can do in a new grade level. Hopefully I can turn that evaluation around when I have a redo in a couple of weeks.

So all is going well for the most part in my life....Very busy with grandchildren playing ball so I will leave this post with the cute little guys I spend most of my spare time with.
