August Collected Crafty Collabs: Summer Vacation

Good morning, I am back with the Collected Crafty Collab with a great little Summer Vacation card duo...Let's Get on a Picnic this summer with the cute picnic ephemera and paper. These would be great cards to send to someone as an invitation to go on a wonderful picnic. (although, hopefully your weather is a little cooler than mine! haha)

Under the Sea Hashtag Hop #Saturdayunderthesea

Hello my crafty friends. I am back for Day 3 of the Under the Sea hop. I have had such a blast the past 3 days making my mermaid panels for the hop. I did not even begin to touch all of my beautiful mermaids. So, since I have not I decided while lying in bed last night (trying to go to sleep...that is when these bright ideas hit me!) to do Mermazing Mondays on my blog for the month of August. Yes each Monday I will have a blog post showcasing something "Mermazing". If you would like to join in, leave a comment below or email me @ teresa@scrappingforless.com, I will create a graphic and we can use the hashtag #MermazingMondaysinAugust.

Ok onto my two panels for today...Final Reveal of the Banner will be the post on Monday so you will need to come back to see it completed then!

Build Your Holiday Stash Day 3

I spent most of the day in my craft room creating projects I needed to work on. I did not get today's cards completely finished enough to link up but I am putting up a blog post for them. I have been on a kick lately making a bunch of cards at one sitting instead of just making 1 or 2. Here are my 17 cards I made today.

These will all have sentiments and/or images on them tomorrow.

Thanks for taking the time to stop and take a look.

Here is our Lineup:

Precious Times!

Hubby has been on vacation this week so my whole schedule has been off.no regular schedule next week either cause he is still on vacation and this week was stay at home get stuff done kind of vacation but next week is get away together and enjoy each other and some Florida sunshine.

Anyhow for today I have a very special post/project. Last Saturday I had the pleasure of helping my granddaughter create thank you cards for her cheer coaches and her two little friends (one her cheer sister, the other a good friend she bonded with over the season.) She has been doing competitive cheering for the past season and is quite good. I love watching her. It was absolutely precious to see this wonderful, little 10 year old come up with kind and caring messages (all different I might add) for people who had come into her life only a short time ago and quickly became like family. I am so very proud of this young lady she has the most caring and kind heart I have ever known in a 10yr old child.
My beautiful cheerleader

We had a blast creating the cards and although Grandma helped by coming up with the ideas, Hannah was right there doing all the work herself. She even did the Copic coloring on the Marci cheerleaders all by herself.

We created 7 cards...1 for each coach (with a personal message to each one)
and 2 cheerleader cards. Hard work all in one day, but we had fun.

Celebrations Galore!

Lately it seems like I have one thing or another to create a card for! But that is a good thing right? It means there is and will be lots of content for my blog. Anyhow, yesterday I was able to go celebrate my granddaughter's honor roll accomplishments so I made this sweet little card to give to her with a small monetary gift to let her know how proud her Papa and I of her.

Design Team Day!

I have a card to share over at Scrapbook Blessings Club! I have a wedding card today using a technique I have wanted to try for a long time.

I heat embossed the image with white fine detail powder on vellum and then flipped it over and colored it with Copic markers. I sooooo need to get better about keeping a list of products used.
I do know I used products from the following companies: My Favorite Things, Wild Rose Studios, Close to My Heart, Lawn Fawn, Copic.
