A Sweet Thank You!

Has someone ever touched a loved one's life so profoundly you knew you had to thank them in some way?

My granddaughter was in a friend of mine's classroom this year in 5th grade. Mrs. Hindley forever laid an imprint on my granddaughter's heart and life. I watched Hannah grow from a bit insecure and not confident in her abilities little girl to blossom into a confident, outgoing, bubbly young lady!

So thankful for great teachers who pour their lives into students...Mrs. Hindley is moving to 6th grade next year and Hannah would be doubly blessed to have her again.

I created this card to send out to my friend as a thank you/congratulations card. Thanks for the great impact she made on Hannah's life this year and congrats on the brand new job!

Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog: Guest Designer

I am thrilled once again to be a guest designer at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog. I  absolutely love sequins! In fact I love them so much they are a component in each and every collection in our Flavor of the Month card kit over at Scrapping for Less. I partnered with Michelle, from Kennedy Grace Creations to supply all the sequins for our card kits. So, this week I am giving away a package of sequins from KG.

Today, I have created a cute card using a stamp from a beloved company!  I absolutely adore La La Land Stamps! I am obsessed right now with mermaids and sequins! Sparkly and shiny is all the rage right now! Shaker cards are a huge trend in card making.

Supplies:

La La Land Mermaid Marci
Papers from my stash
Sentiment stamp: Paper Smooches
Sequins

So hop along with us and get inspired as the team shares their projects.

I love hummingbirds and absolutely love watching them out my dining room window so when I saw this stamp set I just had to have it!!!  And, when I purchased it way back in January there weren't matching dies for it...but now there are and I am picking them up today! So if this stamp set is on your radar hold on a bit and the dies will be up on the website to match the stamp!

So for today I created this super cute card! And I used my leftover March card kit papers for my background and my cardbase was leftover from that kit as well! I am loving that I can pull my leftovers from my kits to create other items. Happy hopping!
